Atlantic City Sharks teams for Jerseys, pant shells, socks, etc.
Fittings will take place from 4PM - 9pm!

2008-2009 Season Information

THE NJYHL HAS HANDED DOWN PENALTIES RESULTING FROM THE SHARKS PLAY IN THE DISTRICT TOURNAMENT.THE NJYHL WILL ALLOW THE AC SHARKS TO FIELD A MIDGET 18U TEAM(S). HOWEVER, THESE TEAM(S) WILL BE SUSPENDED FROM ALL POST SEASON PLAY FOR ONE(1) YEAR. (THEREFORE, THE TEAMS WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE NJYHL PLAYOFFS OR THE DISTRICT PLAYOFFS.)

Flyers Skate Zone is proud to once again offer another step in our commitment to youth hockey - the AC Sharks Youth Hockey Club. This organization was created to utilize our many and varied resources to provide players of all levels and ability an opportunity to participate in a quality travel hockey organization.

The AC Sharks Youth Hockey Club is a member of the New Jersey Youth Hockey League and USA Hockey, and anticipates fielding teams at AA, A and/or B levels in each age group. Final level determinations will be made following the tryout process.

Player Evaluation & Selection

Player Evaluations begin April 6th and are open to all youth hockey players, and registration is required. Players will be assigned to a team based on their performance during the evaluation process. There will be a separate tryout fee, ad all players will receive a practice jersey with a number that is theirs to keep.

A Player Evaluation Committee will be formed and be responsible for working with the coaching staff of each team to be directly involved in the assignment process. The Evaluation Committee will not have and affiliation with the players being evaluated.

Players will be assigned to a team based on their ability level. Our staff will endeavor to place players at an ability level that will allow them to compete but be a challenge to improve their game. We will strive to not place a player in a situation where he/she is overwhelmed.
